Wind/Diesel System

One of the basic conditions for the modern way of life is the access to electricity. Unfortunately this condition is not a natural thing for approximately 2.5 billion people around the world. In many rural areas electricity is wishful thinking and for many years it has been recognized that this leads to urbanization and depopulation of rural areas. One way to apply electricity to rural areas is by using diesel generators. This results in high diesel and transport costs. This is why a combination between wind and diesel is a very effective and competitive solution.

In close co-operation with Risø National Laboratory we have developed and documented a wind/diesel system for off grid operation.
